Awarded in the Wine Guide of Catalonia 2022

On November 15th, a new edition of the Catalan Wine Guide was held. More than 1,200 wines were presented in the different categories.
At Vinyes Domènech we are very happy with the awards obtained in the 2022 Catalan Wine Guide. Two of our wines have been awarded this year, and one of them with a double award.

Teixar 2016 has been awarded as Best Red Wine , along with three other magnificent wines from Priorat and Montsant. This same wine has also received recognition as Best Hairy Grenache Wine.

The Best Red Carignan Wine award has also gone to one of our wines. Vinyes Velles de Samsó 2017 has been recognized as the Best Red Carignan Wine in this year’s edition.

What is the Catalan Wine Guide?

The Catalan Wine Guide was created in 2008 to inform consumers based on a transparent, rigorous and equitable Blind Tasting model, which scores all the factors involved in a wine. Its creators are Jordi Alcover and Sílvia Naranjo, wine specialists and advocates of native varieties of each area.

We couldn’t be happier for the recognition of our work, but also for the number of awards that the DO Montsant has received.
