DIGIVITI: Digitalization of the Winemaking sector within the Nuclear Zone

Aid for Initiatives to Strengthen Business Competitiveness in Nuclear Areas – IRC 2024
The DIGIVITI project seeks to promote the digitalization of the entire wine value chain in the core areas of Catalonia, among others, focusing on the DOQ Priorat , DO Montsant and DO Terra Alta. Its main objective is to implement digital solutions to improve competitiveness, optimize processes and promote the sustainability of the sector in the face of climate change challenges.
In the case of Cellers Herència Altés and Vinyes Domènech, work will be done on the integration of physicochemical and sensory analytical data of their wines, as well as the digitalization of tasting sessions. This will allow them to carry out a more detailed analysis of their products and share structured information with the Denominations of Origin.

DIGIVITI also contemplates the creation of technical and virtual offices to facilitate the administrative management of winegrowers and wineries, and the use of advanced technologies, such as machine learning, to analyze the evolution of the climate and its impact on wines. Thanks to these aspects, the DIGIVITI project aims to consolidate Catalan DOs and wineries as benchmarks of innovation and quality in the global market.

The main objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness of all actors in the vineyard and wine value chain.
The project is coordinated by INNOVI and the consortium formed by DOQ Priorat , DO Terra Alta, DO Montsant, Celler Herència Altés, Celler Vinyes Domènech and Terra Alta Consultoria TIC.
