Vinyes Domènech announces the release of Teixar 2020, the new vintage of its most iconic wine, recognized as a Qualified Estate Wine, the highest distinction granted by the DO Montsant. This launch coincides with a very special milestone for the winery: the closing of the 20th anniversary of the birth of Teixar, a wine that has marked a before and after in the history of the family project initiated by the Domènech family in 2002.
Teixar 2020 is the result of a meticulous selection of the best Garnacha Peluda from plots over 70 years old, cultivated organically and biodynamically in a privileged natural environment, the Paratge de la Serra de la Llaberia. This vintage reflects the essence of the terroir and the elegance of a viticulture that values biodiversity and respect for the Mediterranean landscape.

Since its first vintage in 2004, Teixar has been recognized by critics and sommeliers as one of the great Garnacha wines in Catalonia, a pioneer in the recovery of Garnacha Peluda and a benchmark for authenticity, identity and commitment to the territory.
