Exclusive vertical tasting of the first “Qualified estate wine of the DO Montsant”, Teixar

Teixar is the first Qualified Finca Wine of the DO Montsant and the fourth in Catalonia. It is 100% Garnatxa Peluda, certified by the CCPAE in organic farming since 2007 and promoters of regenerative agriculture and biodynamic farming practices. We will visit the Teixar farm, a coastal farm of three hectares of the oldest vineyards of Garnatxa Peluda in Catalonia. Its name comes from a place in Capçanes known as Font del Teixar, located in an amphitheater in the middle of a protected natural space, of great beauty and ecological value, between the Serra de Llaberia and the Montalt. We will enjoy two vintages of Teixar and accompany it with a truffle foie.
